You need to assess the network environment to identity the following for the planned deployment:

You need to configure policy settings to enforce network bandwidth restrictions only when Teams users are in the branch office :

  • Meeting policy
  • A Network roaming policy
    • A network roaming policy allow the assignement of specific settings to network sites. The Teams client will dynamically adopt the settings based on the network site it connects to. Therefore, when users at the Edmonton field site, where there is limited bandwidth, connect to Teams, the network roaming policy can be used to manage and configure settings such as media bit rate, ensuring optimal performance under constrained conditions.

Fonctionnalites d’appels

Call park : Call park and retrieve lets a user place a call on hold. When a call is parked, the service generates a unique code for call retrieval. The user who parked the call or someone else can then use that code with a supported app or device to retrieve the call
